Wiping out Weight Loss Diet Misconceptions

Myths are worth wrecking, how come? It’s because if these myths proceed to linger in the minds of men and women which makes them separate from the real truth and the fact, they will just be following something that will not give them good results or worse nothing at all.

Common myths or beliefs that are normally accepted by some people should be frequently monitored. That is why a continuous study and analysis is necessary for growth of health. In particular, weight loss has a lot of these myths that may appear easy to do but are really less useful.

For today, we will work on diet. There have been many methods of diet all leading to one aim, which is to attain fitness. Some for health arguments, but more specifically, to become thin and sexy and beautiful. That’s a good goal, but sticking with myths about dieting will not do you any beneficial either.

There are hundreds of these lists in the internet but here a couple of those common thoughts which are made popular by some celebrities in TV commercials. Myth number one, Low-fat or non-fat diets are good. Truly no because we need fats as a source of energy. But we do have to take in a limited amount of fat, most especially those are found on plants like olive oils and virgin coconut oils.

Myth number two, no eating after 8 pm. This is done for the reason that some people believe you have burned up foods you ate at day while the calories you taken at night will turn to fats. Well the truth is, calories don’t have brains and tell the time, as long as they are there, they will always be broken down. The greatest thing you should do rather of eating ice cream of burgers at night while watching CSI, you just munch up some fresh fruits.

Myth number 3, there are foods such as grapes and cabbages that can burn fats. This is so not true; there are no foods that can lose your fat down. Although there are some which contains caffeine that boosts metabolism but only for a short time. The finest way is to cut down calorie intakes and do exercise often.

Here’s myth number four Crashes or going on a fast is good for weight loss. No it is not. Bear in mind this is only a short term. In addition according to Claire MacEvilly, a nutritionist at the MRC Human Nutrition Research Centre in Cambridge, crash dieting not only removes fat for the short term but it also gets rid of lean muscle and tissue which will make your basal metabolic rate fall down which will end to more calorie deposits which will end to you getting more weight.

There is only one solution as far as diet is concerned, that is eating healthy foods. You know what you need and that’s where you start. Add it with exercise and in the long run you will reach what you have been dreaming of. There are more in the list so stay updated.
